Red Leaves and Red Wagons

Last night, we pulled out the Kiddo's little red wagon (inherited from his Sweet Auntie) and took a maiden voyage around the block.  While we pull out the stroller pretty often, this new way of seeing things was clearly quite interesting.  With his "lap robes" tucked around him and a leafy stick for a scepter, we joked that it was almost as if he were a baby lord surveying his kingdom.

And what a kingdom it is right now, because this is THE week of Fall.

The week that you can't be tired or grumpy or do anything else but drink in the color of the leaves as often as you can.  The sky even cooperated today--going through it's full variety of moods from perfect cornflower blue this morning to just a touch of purple-y grey by evening.
