A Comfy Classic

Some shots from the second wedding of the summer, which is the first of three I'm photographing.

I love that, even though we have four weddings to attend this summer, each one is always unique.  Sure, the bones are the same--to love, to cherish, 'till death do us part--but each celebration always has its own flavor.

This particular wedding was comfortably classic--church and family, roses and pie--very lovely, and very like the bride, who is an old school friend.

That's not to discount the groom however, who orchestrated the best reception video I've seen.  He not only wrote a song to propose, but he sneakily recorded both himself playing the song, and the bride's reaction when he pulled out the ring.  Then they superimposed pictures of themselves as children over the part where the song played.  There wasn't a dry eye in the room when it was done!

Congratulations Jai and Lucas, and thanks for letting me be a part of your beautiful day!
