Isola's Letter Writing Club: Say Something Silly

About a month ago, I was talking to my high school best friend, who gamely volunteered for the letter writing club.  I asked him how it was going, and he said he was enjoying his pen pal, and that he liked the fact that they had recently agreed to cut the introductory chit-chat and just write about whatever they felt like on a given day.

The more I thought about it, I think that's the point at which real friendships get made.  When you're brave enough to say silly (or even stupid) things.  When you can ask for and give help without worrying about keeping score.  When you like people enough to let them see the real you.

All that dovetails nicely into this month's giveaway--a print from a lovely little Etsy shop called PaperRamma.  (Proprietor Amanda designed our Christmas card a few years ago, which is one of my favorites still.)

Say something
This is a 5x7, giclee print from PaperRamma.  To change things up, there are two ways to win--1) leave a comment below about your favorite PaperRamma print, or 2) like PaperRamma on Facebook, and then come back and leave a comment telling me you've done so.  (Feel free to do both, and, as always, this isn't limited to letter writing club people.)  I'll pick a winner on Friday.
