Isola's Letter Writing Club: For Your Letter Writing Accompaniment, I Recommend Tea

I have been anxiously awaiting two pieces of mail this week.

The first was this sampler kit from Alica Paulson.  I'm joining Ginny and Grace in their stitch-along, which officially starts on the first day of fall, so I was happy to get the kit in time.  (Not that it was essential.  If this looks like fun to you, it's going on all fall so there's plenty of time to join in still!)

The second piece of mail was some tea I ordered last week.  Not just any tea, actually, but the best tea in the whole world.  I've been waiting for fall to order it.  (I'll drink hot coffee all summer, but hot tea is crossing the line!)

But since the tea was here....and since it's almost fall, after all....I brewed up a cup by which to write my letter to my pen pal this evening.  I highly recommend you do that, if you're a tea lover.  While I had to end earlier than I might've liked--a pile of dirty dishes was screaming my name--there is something very cozy about sipping hot tea as one scribbles away.

And, since I've had such fun mail, how about some fun mail for you all, as well?

This month I'm super proud to be giving away a cute card from local Etsy seller, Two Hungry Blackbirds.  Please do go check out her lovely shop.  Not only does she have handmade cards, but I'm coveting one of her embroidered dala roosters for my Christmas tree this year!

To win the card pictured below, please leave a comment about your favorite kind of tea or other warm beverage.  I'll pick a winner next Monday, and--as a reminder--you don't have to be a letter writing club member to win.

[Oh yes, and while we're speaking of giveaways, Anna won the Sparkle Stories package.  I'll be in touch Anna!]
