A Day of Noticing

This morning, as Sweet Husband loaded the Kid in the car to go to school, I was quickly snapping a few pictures of some knitted projects on our front porch.  I handed Sweet Husband the knitted goodies and the camera to take back inside the house, but had a split second change of heart about the camera.

"You know what," I said, stealing the camera back from his outstretched hand, "I think I'm going to take that with me today, just for fun."

Driving across town, I decided I was going to do a little photo project.  I was going to try to take a picture of everything beautiful or interesting or...well, just all the bits of life I could notice in one day.

It's crazy how many things there are to notice when you start paying attention.  It was so much more than I could actually stop and photograph.  Nonetheless, even without it all on film, it was a lovely day.  Here are some of my favorites.
