Despite the thunderstorm and tornado watches and warnings we had last night, this morning when I let the dogs out, it felt nice. There was certainly a Spring chill in the air, but it had all the looks of the start of a pretty day.
An hour later, when I left for work, it was snowing. Not wimpy snow, but big fat flakes falling hard and fast, despite the still bright and shiney sun.
When I got to work, about a half an hour after that, the ground was covered with snow. By noon the snow was gone. And by the time I left work, it was a nice, sunny (albeit a very breezy) March day.
Why pay for travel to exotic climates when you can get a taste of everything all in one Spring day in Kansas?
