We ate a dozen eggs today. Two for breakfast, and eggs benedict for dinner (so that's 6 poached and 4 for hollandaise). After we ate that dozen eggs, this is what was left.
Normally, we can keep up better, but being gone for a week gave the ladies a heck of a head start. Also, we're maxed out at 10 hens now, and they're all laying. It adds up to 7-8 eggs most days, and sometimes more.
Luckily, it's not hard to find friends who like fresh eggs.
