I thought I learned all about them in grade school, but I didn't come to really know them until I started reading their words more intensely in law school. They weren't perfect or even terribly moral by some standards, but, say what you will, together they did something pretty special.
So, for this week's Independence Day poll:
Who is your favorite founding father and why? To get you started pictured here are (from top left clockwise) George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine, Ben Franklin, James Madison, and John Adams--however feel free to pick someone outside of those too.
