I've always wanted to do a live blog, but haven't ever felt there was anything going on in my life exciting enough to warrant up to the minute coverage. Then I read in the paper today that a local reporter is going to do a live blog of Deathly Hallows, stopping to report after each chapter.
While I probably won't read his until after I'm finished with the book (what if he reads faster than I do?), it sounded like a good idea. After all, you only get to read a book for the first time once, and since I am blogging "Harry's last year" I think it might be fun to keep track of my reactions as I go along rather than all at once at the end.
Sooo, if anyone wants to pop in and keep me company, I'll probably start around...oh by the time we get back from the bookstore and I get settled in let's say 1 a.m., and I'll read until I'm done. I'll be really careful to delineate the chapter headings so you don't read further ahead than you want to--it should be fun.
