Welcome to another edition of my favorite crafty bits from my work over at Sparkle Stories, brought to you for your late-summer weekend inspiration!
First, a sweet little fairy (or doll) teepee.
Super easy to put together! All you'll need is a handful of sticks, a scrap of fabric, and (very, very) minimal sewing skills. Little Miss has been loving this one for her dear little Lottie dolls' camping adventures.
I can't put my finger on who, but one of my childhood literary heros liked to carve things from soap. I never realized how easy it was until we put together this little rill to race them on. You can literally do it with kitchen utensils!
I think it made the Kid feel very grown up to be allowed to carve something on his own, and it made me happy to let him do it without having to get panic-y about a sharp knife. Win/win!
