I feel like our backyard is becoming Dame Maggie's summer camp. Activities on the menu include digging up the garden, playing in the tree house, chasing squirrels, watching chickens, a kiddie pool (as per last post)...it was only a matter of time before I added puppy popsicles.
Truth be told, I've been trying to keep on top of keeping Maggie cool. She has plenty of shade and water, of course, but--as I was fretting about the perils of having a big, black dog in a humid Kansas summer--a friend suggested making her some popsicles, too. When Natural Balance got in touch about trying some of their new "Delectable Delights" it seemed destined.
We loved Natural Balance when Moe-Moe was alive, because their grain-free formulas helped with his allergies. While Maggie doesn't need that, so far, these little cups of wet food are just perfect for popping in the freezer. Mess free and stupid easy, both to make and to serve!
As you can see, Mags was pretty enthusiastic about her new treats.
Go check out all of Natural Balance's new flavors, and try some puppy popsicles of your own. Or--if you're having a day where you need to look at cute dogs (that's every day, people, EVERY day)--take a peek at the Natural Balance Instagram feed for your daily dose of pet pictures.
[This post is sponsored by Natural Balance, but my desire to keep Maggie entertained, cool, and not digging up my garden is all my own!]
