After Christmas this year, I decided I was just going to dive into it, though, and I'm glad I finally did. My sweet friend, Jen, once again lent me her adorable school house, I gathered some pretty props, and we were off!
It ended up being a small group, but I think maybe that was a good thing. I started with a little verbal diarrhea of "these-are-the-hundred-things-I-know-and-hopefully-two-of-them-are-new-to-you" to begin with, and then we spent an hour or so just playing.
With light boxes and lenses....
....with flowers and ladybugs and ukuleles....
....and most of all, with cupcakes!
I don't know if I will do another organized class like that again, but just setting everything up and experimenting was enough fun that I feel like maybe there's something there. Like, perhaps a picture-taking "happy hour" a few times a year or something?
Even if all I do is gather people in a group to chase ladybugs and eat cupcakes...meh, I could think of worse ways to spend an afternoon.
