Late last week, I got a bug to make Little Miss an Easter dress. I never thought I'd get even a simple dress finished so fast, but in little scraps of time here and there--a pop into the fabric store before drinks with friends, cutting out the pattern while Sweet Husband and the kids played outside one afternoon--I made more steady progress than I anticipated.
The pattern (which is a good one) is this Polly Peasant Dress. That little scalloped hem was a pain in the arse to press into the right shape, but it all worked out in the end.
I've tucked this delightful new frock into the back of the closet for now, but I'm so excited to see it on her come bunny rabbit time!
