When last we spoke of my quest to knit sweaters for every member of my family, I had just re-knitted Little Miss's attire, was about finished with Sweet Husband's sweater, and was ordering yarn for my sweater but pledging not to work on it until Sweet Husband's was finished.
I am still about finished with Sweet Husband's sweater. But--crippled with anxiety about picking up the stitches for his collar--I decided I'd just get a little start on mine. You know, just gather up the supplies and do some gauge swatches.
Productive procrastination. It's a good drug; you should get on it.
That aside, my sweater fits almost perfectly. I wish it were about an inch longer, but I haven't blocked it so I may be able to persuade it still. And even if it doesn't stretch, it's not so short that it's going to be a crop top so I think it will be fine.
Now, onto that darned collar! But maybe just a few hats first...and a baby present...and a cardi for Little Miss. (No really, I swear, Sweet Husband's sweater WILL BE DONE. Soon.)
