It was bound to happen. Somewhere between getting Sweet Husband's sweater almost finished and ordering yarn for mine, I changed my mind about the sweater I had made for Little Miss.
She'll still wear the Camilla I made for her out and about, of course, but I decided that she needed something, well, more dressy for our family sweater pictures. Thus, a dress.
This is another Taiga Hilliard pattern, called Muti. (Remember this first one I made.) While even that little bit of lace takes intense concentration for me, the skirt of this one flew by delightfully.
I'm actually thinking of entering it in this year's county fair. There's one tiny mistake in it--one of the skirt panels magically grew to nine stitches instead of eight--but otherwise I think it might be the most technically perfect item I've ever knitted.
Which sort of gives me a zen feeling deep down in my chest.
Now someone needs to come make me finish Sweet Husband's sweater before I order the yarn for mine.
