It's that time of year again, and, as we have discussed before, figuring out sunscreen sucks.
But it particularly sucks when you have a baby. Those dimple-y, chubby limbs...so kissable, so pinch-able, so bright white and exposed to the evil, evil sun. I don't want those sweet arms and legs to burn, of course, but I also don't want to douse them in yucky chemicals.
So, consider this my yearly gentle nudge towards Butterbean Sunscreen.
Not only does it smell divine and work well, it gets a "1" rating (that's the best!) in the Environmental Working Group's sunscreen ratings, which are pretty much the gold standard in rating the safety of cosmetics and personal care products.
And, Butterbean is run by the loveliest small business mama.
Basically, you can feel good about supporting them on pretty much every front possible!
Butterbean has a new "simple" formula for 2015 and, if possible, I'm loving it even more than I have in the past because of the handy pump. It's also just a bit easier to rub in, which is nice for the squirmy pre-schooler.
To get some for yourself, go check out the Butterbean shop. Happy sunny times!
[Butterbean sent me a free bottle of sunscreen for review purposes, but my opinions are my own, as always.]
