Three weeks ago, walking past a sign in the window of our new, cute stationery store for a "Hand Lettering Workshop":
Me: That looks cool.
Sweet Husband: Yeah, it does, actually.
Me: Hey, wanna go?
After a quick email to our sitter to check her availability, I signed us up.
First, let it be noted that I left without buying a single piece of adorable paper product, even though it was all 10% off for the night of the class. (SO hard.)
Second, Sweet Husband was really good at hand lettering. I tried to tell our classmates that he was a cheater ("C'mon...he went to art school!") and then bumped his arm for good measure. (The arm bump actually was an accident.)
At least I know who will be addressing our family Christmas cards next year!
Third, these are the most awesome colored pencils ever and I want to get some so I can play with them more.
Fourth, I'd forgotten how much I like going on "activity" dates. We used to do it all the time, but it's kind of fallen by the wayside with the arrival(s) of the children. We should do that better.
To that end, since I've got you here, what is your favorite "activity" date? Either something you've done in the past or something you'd like to do in the future. Allow me to mooch from your creativity, pretty please.
