Sometime around the first of the year, the ladies behind Tin Can Knits posted that they were going to try to knit one sweater a month for 2015. I knew joining that challenge was the road to madness, but it got me thinking.
"You know what would be fun?" my go-getter internal monologue said, "To knit a sweater for each member of the family and then do Christmas card pictures in them."
My go-getter internal monologue is impossibly twee, but whatever. I decided to go for it.
I debated whether to start with the big sweater (Sweet Husband's) and work down, but--for reasons of yarn availability--ultimately decided to begin with Little Miss and work up.
So, here we are--a Camilla sweater in the ever-so-washable Malabrigo Rios. (Ravelry deets.) I hate bottom-up sweaters, but the fan pattern is so pretty that it made up for the aggravation. (Dear Carrie Bostick Hoge, could you work your magic in a top-down pattern just once? Please for me?)
One down, three to go. Next up, a Flax for the Kid.
