Feeling a little bit sore in the spirit this afternoon, and decided to try a bit of Soule Mama's WHO--that's wheat, honey, oats--bread. (There's just something about making bread, ya know? It's good for you, I'm convinced it's true.)
Whilst I was making said WHO bread, I couldn't help but keep singing the David Bowie song "Magic Dance", from Labyrinth. With apologies to Mr. Bowie....
You remind me of the bread.
Bread with the power.
The power of voodoo.
Remind me of the bread.
And even aside from the singing, the bread was quite nice. The dough was a little sticky at first, but ended up almost fluffy. The resulting bread was just a little sweet, but not overwhelmingly so--perfect with jam or a little butter.
