We've been on four walks in the past week--you know what that means....Walking Season has begun!
Let me explain. I know silly humans divide it out even further, but for dogs the year has two seasons--Walking Season and Not Walking Season.
During Not Walking Season we stay inside and lay by the fire and eat all kinds of good food. Only very badly trained humans expect their dogs to spend much time outside during Not Walking Season.
During Walking Season we go on long walks almost everyday. There's lots of sniffing and p-mailing and occasionally--if you have well-trained humans like mine--even a vanilla ice cream cone or a cheeseburger.
While both seasons are wonderful in their own place and time, I always look forward to getting out into the sun and starting Walking Season after being inside all winter.
